What types of car filters are available and why choose new?
New filters guarantee factory-grade filtration efficiency from the first moment of use. The main types include: air filters (dry or oil-impregnated) that prevent dust and sand from reaching the cylinders; oil filters (canister or replaceable element) that trap metal shavings and combustion residues; fuel filters that protect injectors from water, rust and sediment - diesel variants often include a water separator; and cabin filters available in with charcoal, with active charcoal, without charcoal variants. New parts retain their full filtering media integrity, unlike used ones where fibres may already be degraded.

How do I know my car filter needs replacing?
Common warning signs depend on the filter type. A clogged fuel filter causes difficult cold starts, engine hesitation, power loss at higher revs and sometimes a fuel odour in the cabin. A blocked air filter may produce a whistling sound on acceleration and lead to higher fuel consumption. An exhausted oil filter forces more frequent oil changes and can cause premature engine wear. For DPF/FAP filters, watch for the DPF or Check Engine warning light, limp mode and frequent regeneration attempts. As a general guide, replace air and cabin filters every 15,000-20,000 km, fuel filters around every 20,000 km, and oil filters at each oil change.
How can I find the correct filter for my vehicle?
The most reliable method is matching by your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), which guarantees the correct dimensions, thread type and connection fittings. You can also search by OE part number - our catalogue includes 1167 OE references. Filters are available for 24 brands including Renault, Citroen, Peugeot and many more, spanning 200 models.
